TAP BRM / Project Manager (Principal) - DOJ LESIS
This role serves as a principal liaison for the Tribal Access Program (TAP), providing strategic and operational support to tribal agencies under the Department of Justice (DOJ). You will manage multiple accounts, deliver training, facilitate system access, and coordinate technology deployments to enhance national crime information access. The position requires building strong relationships with stakeholders, conducting large group and one-on-one training sessions, and ensuring compliance with security policies and program requirements. You will manage special projects, oversee operational processes, and support onboarding and certification activities for new tribal locations. This role combines project management, technical knowledge, and relationship-building skills to drive program success. Ideal candidates are experienced in law enforcement or criminal justice environments, account management, and training program delivery.
Accountabilities : Serve as TAP liaison for assigned tribes, providing timely updates to DOJ management and TAP funding partners. Build and maintain relationships with tribal organizations, providing training, policy guidance, and technical support. Manage account activities, including user certifications, kiosk access, account provisioning, and password management. Conduct onsite and remote meetings, webinars, and one-on-one training sessions for tribal stakeholders. Manage TAP BIA Special Project activities, including supporting DOI / BIA and participating tribes. Oversee onboarding and operational processes for new locations, ensuring compliance with program standards. Coordinate installation of kiosks, software, and other program tools as required. Provide audit support and assist with troubleshooting and system outage resolution.
