Job Title : Oracle OCI Architect and BA

Location : Alpharetta GA

Long term Contract

Oracle Finance Sr. Cloud professional who can operate as a Business Analyst, Developer, and Solution Architect across Oracle SaaS (Fusion ERP Finance), PaaS, OCI, and ODI.

The ideal candidate will lead requirement analysis, cloud solution design, technical development, integrations, data pipelines, and architecture reviews for large-scale financial transformation programs.

Required Functional Skills

Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Finance modules (GL / AP / AR / FA / CM).

Deep knowledge of financial processes Ledgers, Subledger Accounting, Period Close, Reporting.

Experience writing BRDs, FDDs, user stories, and test scripts.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

OCI Functions, Object Storage, API Gateway

Autonomous Database & ATP

Events, Notifications, Streaming

OCI Security, IAM roles & policies

Oracle Integration Technologies

OIC (Integrations, File Transfer, REST / SOAP adapters)

ODI (ELT jobs, data pipelines, load plans)

OAC (optional but good to have)

SaaS + PaaS

Fusion Finance SaaS configurations & REST APIs

VBCS / PCS for extensions

PaaS-based custom services (APEX, Autonomous DB, BIP)

Core Development

SQL, PL / SQL

FBDI templates & data conversion

BI Publisher, OTBI

REST / SOAP API development

Shell / Python scripting (optional)

Preferred Skills

Oracle Finance certifications (ERP Cloud, OCI Architect, ODI).

Experience in telecom, banking, financial services, or retail.

Exposure to DevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform for OCI).

Knowledge of performance tuning and cloud monitoring.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Ability to translate business needs into technical architecture.

Leadership in cross-functional cloud transformation programs.

Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Education

Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.

MBA Finance preferred but not mandatory.
