Job Title : Dialysis Technician

Location : Temple, TX

Pay Range : $23 to $33 per hour (depending on experience)

Employment Type : Full-time (36 hours per week, variable shifts)

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment, including setting up, operating, and cleaning machines.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, checking vital signs and ensuring patient comfort.
• Administer local anesthetics and insert needles into patients' veins for dialysis access.
• Troubleshoot dialysis machines and respond to alarms or malfunctions promptly.
• Educate patients on dialysis procedures and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe treatment environment.
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications :

• Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience : Previous experience as a Dialysis Technician preferred; however, on-the-job training is provided for the right candidate.
• Certification : Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
