The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary
The Department of Epidemiology in the Mailman School of Public Health seeks an experienced quantitative Data Analyst to provide data management and conduct analysis of a project focusing on cannabis policies and cannabis outcomes in pregnant people, including administrative claims data and policy data. The successful candidate will have experience analyzing data, and proficiency in SAS, Stata, and / or R. The candidate will be involved in data management and cleaning of administrative claims data of a cohort of pregnant people, regression and quasi-experimental methods (DiD analyses) and causal medication analyses. Some experience with large datasets and DiD is essential. The incumbent will provide assistance with preparation of reports and papers for publication; assistance with developing related grant proposals and research protocols to extend the scope of the project; and other support as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
A master's degree or equivalent in training, education, and / or experience.
Work experience in biostatistics and substance use epidemiology
Experience with quantitative data management and analysis.
experience working with administrative claims data, prior knowledge of the International Classification of Diseases codes (ICD)
The ability to work with large teams of investigators.
Proficiency in SAS, Stata, R is essential.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and be detail oriented.
High-level interpersonal and organizational skills.
