Job Title : IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Duration : 6 months (Contract W2)

Location : Atlanta GA (Hybrid candidate must be local)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead plan and deliver complex infrastructure initiatives across telecommunications networks network security servers cloud and wireless technologies. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure with proven project management expertise to ensure successful on-time and on-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects including on-premises cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teamsengineers system administrators vendors and business stakeholdersto ensure alignment and execution.
  • Define project scope business requirements goals timelines resources risks and deliverables.
  • Track project milestones and ensure adherence to budgets deadlines and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation (plans RAID logs reports lessons learned).
  • Proactively identify risks and issues implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Provide clear and regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders via reports and meetings.
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions meet compliance security and performance standards.
  • Partner with procurement and vendors for sourcing contract management and delivery of infrastructure components.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of IT project management experience with a focus on infrastructure-related initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of networks servers storage virtualization cloud platforms (AWS Azure) and data center operations.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project Jira Asana Smartsheet).
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Hands-on experience leading projects in network server and telecommunications domains.
  • Strong organizational communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
