Job Title : Data Scientist : Iii (Senior)

Type : Contract to Hire

Location : Columbus, OH (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Only W2 Contract

Basic Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Decision Sciences, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems, Operations Research, or a STEM degree AND a minimum of 3 years of work experience in analytics or data science. If candidate has a PhD, no work experience is required.
  • In lieu of a Master's degree, a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years work experience in analytics or data science

Required Technical Skills :

  • Experience with programming languages R or Python
  • Business intelligence and data mining tools Tableau and Tableau Server
  • Direct experience with SQL programming and large database applications such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SPSS, Teradata, and Hadoop

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Developing and applying statistical or machine learning methods in a corporate environment through applications such as R, Python, or SAS
  • Extensive experience with programming languages R or Python
  • Programming languages Java or C++ in a data mining context
  • Building web-based applications using HTML, CSS, Perl, and JavaScript
  • Experience with web analytics tools and implementation - Adobe Analytics (formerly Omniture Site Catalyst), Google Analytics, IBM Digital Analytics (formerly Core metrics), Web trends
  • A / B testing tools (Optimizely, Adobe Target, and effective test design (establishing sample sizes, statistical significance measurement,
