Correctional Medicine Physician

Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) is seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to provide outpatient coverage in a Correctional Medicine setting for our client in Florence, Arizona. The client would ask that a qualified candidate commit to a minimum of (3) three months of coverage and to begin as soon as credentialed (2-3 weeks).

Job Details : The physician will provide primary care for a compliant / appreciative patient population seeing mostly acute and chronic cases, physicals and intakes with a few urgent / emergency triage cases a month. The schedule is Monday Friday working 8A-5P with the option of 8 hours shifts to create a 40-hour work week. NO Holiday or Weekend coverage; NO call and NO hospital rounding responsibilities.

Requirements : Active / unrestricted Arizona license, Federal DEA and current BLS certification.
