Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in New York requiring a current NY RN license and experience with vascular and interventional radiology procedures.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Hospital-based Interventional Radiology department

Primary schedule is 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM

5x8 hour shift schedule also possible

Call requirement is one shift per week and one weekend per seven weeks

Uses Epic for charting

Handles both vascular and interventional radiology cases

Participate in all aspects of patient care in the Interventional Radiology unit including pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure support

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital environment

Local caregivers living within 50 miles are considered

The facility may cancel up to five shifts per contract

Training in de-escalation techniques is required prior to start

\n \n Requirements\n

Active NY RN license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum of 2 years' RN experience in Interventional Radiology or vascular procedures required

De-Escalation training required through Welle, CPI, PMC S, or equivalent

Epic experience required

Prior travel experience preferred

Candidates must not have worked as staff at this facility within the past year or within AMC network in the past six months

Influenza vaccination required, with documentation needed for religious or medical exemption
