Job Manager, Third Party Sales
The Manager, Third Party Sales will cover our TexOma territory (Texas and Oklahoma). This will be a hybrid / remote position and candidates should be local to the area. This position is a combo hunter / farmer, meaning you will be responsible for new business as well as retention of existing accounts.
Job Summary
Presents the full line of WM services to existing and prospective third-party environmental customers across the assigned area.

Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. A. Education and Experience : Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in science or related field or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience. Experience : Five years of prior work experience in the waste industry (in addition to education requirement). Preferred : Five plus years of outside sales experience, as well as operational knowledge of landfill and collection / post-collection services.
B. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required : Working knowledge of applicable waste disposal regulations, excellent oral and written skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint at an intermediate to advanced level, self-motivation, the ability to motivate employees and customers, and excellent organizational and communication skills in both small and large settings required. Language Skills : Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Must demonstrate the ability to write reports, and business correspondence. Must effectively present information to top management, public groups, customers, and general public. Mathematical Skills : Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages and volume.
