The Data Entry Keyer is responsible for accurately inputting a variety of information into school databases and digital records. This role requires strong attention to detail, fast and accurate typing skills, and the ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality. The Data Entry Keyer supports multiple departments by ensuring that data is well-organized, consistent, and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately key data from various source documents into digital systems.
Review incoming data for completeness, accuracy, and proper formatting.
Identify and correct data entry errors or report them to appropriate personnel.
Maintain organized files and records (digital and physical).
Perform routine checks to verify data integrity and consistency.
Collaborate with school departments (e.g., admissions, registrar, development) to fulfill data entry needs.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive student, faculty, and school information.
Assist with basic clerical tasks as needed, including scanning and document preparation.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in data entry, clerical work, or administrative support preferred.
Strong typing speed and accuracy (recommended : 50+ words per minute).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Workspace.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with database systems is a plus.
