Jamie Benway with Robert Half is partnering with a rapidly growing client in the construction industry to hire a controller who will play a pivotal role in financial leadership and strategic growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to join a dynamic team and make a lasting impact. Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Lead the month-end close process and general ledger reconciliations. Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and business decisions. Collaborate on M&A activities and assist with acquisition integration. Implement and optimize accounting software systems. Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures. Provide mentorship and leadership to the accounting team. Monitor key financial metrics and deliver reports to executive leadership. Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes.

Requirements : Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Extensive experience in financial management, ideally within the construction industry. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Proven ability to manage month-end close and financial statement preparation. Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and integration processes. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
