As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our commercial construction projects by providing accurate and competitive cost estimates. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are bid and executed profitably.
About the Role :
- Cost Estimation : Prepare detailed cost estimates for a wide range of commercial construction projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.
- Takeoffs : Accurately take measurements from blueprints, specifications, and other project documents.
- Subcontractor Bidding : Manage the bidding process with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Bid Analysis : Analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to identify the most cost-effective options.
- Cost Control : Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase to ensure they align with the initial estimate.
- Change Order Management : Evaluate and price change orders to maintain project profitability.
- Risk Assessment : Identify potential cost risks and develop mitigation strategies.
