Job Description

As an experienced engineer, you know that machine learning (ML) is critical to understanding and processing massive datasets. Your ability to conduct statistical analyses on business processes using ML techniques makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused solution. We need your technical knowledge and desire to problem-solve to support DoD program offices. As an ML Engineer on our AI-enabled team, you will train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data. In this role, you will own and define the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and technologies. You will be part of a large community of ML engineers across the firm and collaborate with data engineers, data scientist, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver world class solutions to DoD and Federal clients. Your advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise will guide clients as they navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks. On our team, you will use your leadership skills and data science expertise to create real-world impact. You will work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You will guide teammates and lead the development of

algorithms and systems. You will use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to advise your clients as they make informed decisions. Ultimately, you will provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Nice to Have

  • Recent DoD or IC-related experience.
  • Experience building distributed deep learning libraries or scaling large distributed deep learning workflows using PyTorch (or similar).
  • Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural
  • language processing.

  • Experienced in large scale AI and ML infrastructure, AWS ML tools such as SageMaker.
  • Experience in working in an agile development environment.
