• BW-10526 About the Opportunity Value Driven Solutions, on behalf of our private equity client, is seeking a highly specialized Due Diligence Project Contractor to support the evaluation of a ~$45M mobile diagnostic imaging services provider.
• The target company operates a fleet of approximately 30 MRIs and 12 PET-CTs, serving rural and limited-access healthcare facilities across the Midwest and Pacific Northwest.
• This critical role involves conducting a comprehensive assessment of the equipment’s condition and long-term viability through a desktop analysis of maintenance history and service records, with potential in-field inspections of a representative sample of units.
• The goal is to ensure the fleet can operate effectively for the next 5–10 years without significant unforeseen capital expenditures, as the business model relies heavily on refurbished equipment.
• Key Responsibilities Perform a detailed desktop evaluation of MRI, PET-CT, and nuclear medicine imaging equipment, analyzing maintenance history, service records, and key performance metrics.
• Conduct in-field physical inspections of a representative sample of mobile units, as required, to verify equipment condition and functionality.
• Assess the durability and operational lifespan of the fleet, providing insights into its viability over the next 5–10 years.
• Identify potential risks or issues that could lead to significant capital expenditures.
• Prepare a comprehensive report with findings and recommendations to support the acquisition decision.
• Collaborate with the private equity firm’s diligence team to align with transaction goals and timelines.

Qualifications Expertise :

Deep experience evaluating MRI, PET-CT, and nuclear medicine imaging equipment, with a focus on functionality, durability, and lifespan based on maintenance and service records.

Experience with mobile or refurbished equipment is a plus.

Industry Experience :

Proven track record in diagnostic imaging equipment assessment, particularly MRI, PET-CT, and nuclear medicine systems.

Availability :

Immediate availability to begin work to meet the condensed transaction timeline.

Private Equity Experience :

Prior experience with private equity due diligence processes is preferred.

Travel :

Ability to travel to the Midwest and Pacific Northwest for in-field inspections, as needed.

Communication :

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver clear, actionable reports to stakeholders.

Compensation :

Rate should align with market standards for specialized due diligence consultants.
