Fleet Data Analyst

Description

The Fleet Data Analyst will be designing, developing, and implementing timely and accurate data / reports using MS SQL, MS Reporting Services, Power BI and other system tools to support the fleet business operations. This role is responsible for master data, report development, report maintenance, tracking and trending fleet analysis and interpreting data to drive informed decision-making, optimize fleet performance, and streamline operational processes. You will analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations to improve fleet efficiency and effectiveness. • Analyze and manage master data, design and build database queries and deliver reports and dashboards using business intelligence and reporting tools adhering to established best practice frameworks and standards
• Actively participate in and influence discussions around reporting requirements, infrastructure needs, and develop reporting solutions to meet fleet objectives
• Analyze business processes; analyze source data; produce functional specifications, data flows and business rules; and assist with the implementation of those specifications
• Streamline reporting by automating queries, etc. and / or placing reports in production to minimize manual efforts
• Develop and track KPIs and provide actionable recommendations to improve fleet efficiency and effectiveness
• Analyze data through data mining and data auditing to provide actionable insights to fleet operations and contribute to setting data strategy
• Ability to spot trends, anomalies, and data discrepancies
• Compiles business intelligence to support actionable recommendations.
• Provide monthly, quarterly, annual reports to management and external customers
• All other duties and projects as assigned
