Position Summary

We are seeking a Facilities & Engineering Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, preventive maintenance programs, contractor relationships, and facility upgrades at our GMP radiopharmaceutical site in Wilmington, MA. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for facility infrastructure, engineering systems, and site-wide support including BMS, access control, and security. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in life sciences facility operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage site infrastructure and equipment essential to GMP manufacturing, labs, and office areas.
  • Oversee BMS, access control, alarms, and surveillance systems.
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs and maintain compliance documentation.
  • Lead vendor selection, contract management, and performance oversight for external facilities partners.
  • Drive capital improvement projects and facility upgrades from planning through execution.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure systems operate reliably and meet operational standards.
  • Support audits and inspections as the facilities and engineering lead.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 8–10+ years managing facilities in GMP pharmaceutical, biotech, or similar environments.
  • Strong understanding of cleanroom infrastructure, building systems, and vendor oversight.
  • Experience managing building systems (e.g., BMS, security, alarms, access control).
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, technical leadership, and documentation.

  • Full-time day shift with flexibility for off-hours or on-call needs.
  • Requires ability to access mechanical areas and perform physical tasks (lift 25+ lbs).
