Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Histology Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Seeking a meticulous histotechnologist for a critical role Now Hiring : 2 Travel Histotechnologists - Atlanta & Lawrenceville, GA locations Schedule : 13 Weeks | 8 hour Day shift | Must work 2 major and 1 minor holiday IMPORTANT : Must reside 50 or more miles from zip code 30342 or 30046 Key Responsibilities : Position supports services which include Pathology, Cytology, and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Responsibilities include receiving specimens from surgery, accessioning specimen into Cerner, and collection of blocks from PA staff Carries out all aspects of histology slide preparation, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining Qualifications : Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program, or an associate's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences Current AHA BLS is required Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty (Pathology Laboratory) Required Adecco Job ID US_EN_99_020282_2468473.
