Sells new or used vehicles at a profit to the dealership, while ensuring customer satisfaction. Supervisory responsibilities : This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential duties and responsibilities include : meeting dealership sales goals, greeting customers and determining make, type, and quality of vehicle desired, explaining features and demonstrating operation of vehicle in showroom or on demonstration drive, suggesting optional equipment for customer to purchase, computing and quoting sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount, completing paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, arranging for delivery and registration of vehicle, researching availability of models and optional equipment, engaging in business development, addressing customer concerns, maintaining CSI at or above company standards, maintaining an organized, clean and safe work area, participating in required training, recording all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system, following safeguards rules and regulations, demonstrating the company's core values, complying with company policies and procedures, observing all federal, state, local and company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties, and other duties as assigned.

Communication skills : ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel. Attendance requirements : the position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands : while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit. Environment demands : duties are performed throughout the premises, both indoors and outdoors and on customer test drives. Due to the nature of the position, may be exposed to various work environments and required to perform a variety of tasks. Heavy standing work. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to interact with customers and other departments.
