What You'll Do as a Senior Accountant

In this role, you'll lead essential corporate close activities while providing meaningful analysis that drives the business forward.

Prepare and review complex journal entries and reconciliations in compliance with GAAP

Perform detailed reconciliations of corporate cash accounts, identifying and resolving variances promptly

Own the monthly corporate earnings package, including variance analysis vs. budget and forecast, for presentation to leadership

Partner with the Accounting Manager and Staff Accountant to research expense variances and provide clear explanations

Ensure compliance with SOX / internal controls, documentation standards, and audit readiness

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)

Strong understanding of GAAP with proven experience in complex areas

3+ years of accounting experience (corporate or public accounting)

Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate effectively

Preferred Qualifications

4-5 years of progressive accounting experience

Advanced Excel proficiency

Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems
