About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations for Gastroenterology to play a pivotal role in the integration and alignment of care across its three Florida divisions. This inaugural administrative dyad leader will work in partnership with the Chief Medical Officer to unify the operations of gastroenterology services, with a focus on designing and executing specialty-specific operational strategies that drive financial sustainability, optimize resources, and expand consumer access. The successful candidate will be accountable for creating business frameworks that support long-term growth and will serve as a consultant to develop gastroenterology specialty-specific strategies and clinical standards in the context of the competitive landscape.
Candidates for this role should have expertise in large-scale medicine or surgical specialties, with a preference for specific expertise in gastroenterology. The position requires a proven track record in dyad / shared leadership models, strong skills in strategic planning, financial management, and operational integration, as well as the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations. Experience in both ambulatory and hospital-based environments, as well as a background in digital health, operational innovation, or academic partnerships, is also desirable. The role demands a leader with the capacity to drive organizational change and implement innovative operational models to advance quality outcomes and sustain growth.
