Role : Data Analyst

Location New York Onsite from day one

Long Term Contract

Responsibilities -

  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and statistical analysis to formulate deep-level insights that help identify trends & opportunities to drive growth of our business, and measure impact.
  • Designs interconnected collections of high-performance visualizations that enable clear narrative understanding as well as deeper, interactive exploration.
  • Be a thought leader for data-informed initiatives and contribute to the team’s direction overall.
  • Conduct in-depth investigations leveraging large and complex data sets.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Data Science, Product teams to solve problems at scale.
  • Inform, influence, and execute new strategies and tactics using analysis and impact metrics.
  • Determines success metrics that measure short and long-term progress for both goal and project performance.
  • Build narrative around data quality and provide insights that will help in better annotation project performance opportunities.
  • Handle relational and non- relational databases, data frames and / or Business Intelligence development, performing data transformations and data manipulation.
  • Design and develop data solutions that help the team and leadership make data driven analytical decisions tailored to improve the business.
  • Leverage appropriate analytical techniques to draw conclusions from structured and unstructured data and answer exploratory and hypothesis-based questions that inform data-driven decisions.

Minimum Qualifications -

  • Degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of work experience in an analyst role.
  • Database querying language(SQL) and programming language (Python) for data processing, data analysis and analytics
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheet experience
  • Perform quantitative and statistical analysis using advanced methodologies, including linear and logistic regression and forecasting models
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across functional boundaries and globally
  • Ability to make judgments under tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Experience driving collaboration of cross-functional teams, coordinating effectively, and inspiring others
  • Experience communicating effectively via various formats, time zones and audiences, including within operations teams and across with key stakeholders and senior leadership
