Position : Winter Ensemble Instructor (Percussion)Objective NBHS seeks a Winter Ensemble Instructor to teach and inspire our students. Through strong teamwork organizational skills and interpersonal skills this candidate will foster a positive environment for all participants. Responsibilities : Co-teach the Indoor Percussion ensembleConduct ongoing assessments of student achievementSupport the musical development of the percussion sectionImplement all musical techniques needed by the studentsCollaboratively with other staff help with arranging music Maintain secure and setup equipment and materials for rehearsals and performancesEstablish a positive rapport with students and familiesParticipate in rehearsals and performances throughout the winter seasonFlexible schedule including working holidays / weekendsSuch other responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned by the Principal Director of Fine Arts or CDAM - ArtsQualifications : Experience rehearsing a percussion section (Battery / Front Ensemble) Ability to collaboratively help with arranging performance materialsKnowledge of appropriate percussion techniquesWorks collaboratively with staff and studentsTerms : Reports to : NBHS Principal Director of Fine Arts CDAM - ArtsLocation : NBHSDates : December 1st 2025 April 30th 2026Rate : $2000
