Field Leader

A growing ecological restoration team is seeking a motivated Field Leader to oversee hands-on implementation work across natural areas, working farms, and conservation properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic. This is a field-based leadership role with direct impact on project success and ecological outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field crews (typically 2–6 people) in safe, efficient, and high-quality restoration work
• Execute daily project tasks including planting, invasive species removal, site preparation, erosion control, and light construction
• Coordinate daily logistics, equipment, and materials with Project Management
• Provide clear communication on site conditions, crew performance, and progress updates
• Train and mentor crew members in restoration techniques, tool use, and safety protocols
• Ensure accurate implementation of plans, specifications, and ecological standards
• Maintain a professional presence when interacting with landowners and partners
