Job Title : Key Account Manager – OEM Sales (Outside Sales)

About This Role :

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager – OEM Sales to join our outside sales team. This individual will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key OEM accounts, developing new business opportunities, and representing Fireye’s interests in the marketplace. The role requires a seasoned outside sales professional who thrives on customer engagement, building trust-based partnerships, and driving revenue growth. The Key Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for OEMs, ensuring Fireye solutions meet customer needs and support long-term business success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned OEM prospects and accounts, building and maintaining professional, long-term relationships.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend Fireye products and services that best meet those needs.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to grow Fireye’s presence with key OEMs in the HVAC and burner / boiler markets.
  • Identify and contact new customers to discuss needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Represent Fireye as part of the management team in discussions with target accounts and industry stakeholders.
  • Influence business opportunities by cultivating strong customer relationships and trust.
  • Attend and present at industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote Fireye’s product portfolio.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align on account strategies and deliver superior customer support.
  • Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales quotas and performance targets.
  • Travel approximately 50% to meet with customers, attend events, and develop relationships.

Qualifications :

  • Technical knowledge of combustion controls, flame safeguards, or related industrial products.
  • Experience working with distributors and channel partners in addition to OEM accounts.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales processes.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in OEM or industrial sales.
  • Demonstrated experience working with OEMs in the HVAC, burner, or boiler industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and building strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
