Illinois Casualty Company is growing, and we have an opportunity for a Marketing Administrative Assistant to join one of the leading providers of insurance protection for the food and beverage industry.

The Marketing Administrative Assistant assists in the administration and implementation of Company marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate agency records and providing administrative support to all marketing activities. The position reports directly to the Marketing Coordinator.

Essential Functions

  • Maintains the Agency Administration database in IDMS
  • Manages the new agency appointment process with a high degree of accuracy, responsiveness, and communication
  • Responds to inquiries from agents, vendors, and employees as it relates to the Marketing Department
  • Provides internal support for Marketing Representatives
  • Provides administrative support to all Marketing Department and agency activities including : mail processing, coordination of meeting arrangements, accommodations, agendas, print materials, presentations, correspondence, and statistical reporting
  • Assists in preparations for various Marketing Department events
  • Additional duties are assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or two years equivalent experience
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prepare business correspondence and reports
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information
  • Ability to respond to routine inquiries from employees, agents, policyholders, and vendors
  • Ability to solve practical simple problems where standardization exists
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently
