Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role involves conducting inspections, performing quality audits, and utilizing various precision measuring instruments to assess product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough quality inspections of products using calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations during the manufacturing process.
  • Perform quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality management systems.
  • Utilize vision inspection systems and other analysis tools to evaluate product specifications and tolerances.
  • Collect data on product quality and maintain accurate records for reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality.

    • Qualifications

  • Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Calypso software for measurement analysis is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and FDA regulations related to quality control.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Knowledge of QA / QC processes and methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
