Seeking a  Inside Sales / Quote Specialist to assist the Manufacturing sales team by preparing quotes for potential / existing customers.

Junior level candidates encouraged to apply. Internships in supply chain or other related fields would be applicable.

Note - This will not be a 'cold-calling' type role, but more of a role working with customers to find the right solution for their application.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sales quotes in a timely manner, determining pricing based on information obtained from potential and existing customers to meet their specifications.
  • Work with and monitor quotes and provide updates to internal teams and external customers to meet customer specifications.
  • Respond to customer requests and concerns
  • Apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures to the completion of all assignments.
  • Understand dimensions and be able to interpret from blueprints into quotes.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Previous experience with technical quotes helpful
  • Previous manufacturing experience helpful
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel required
  • Ability to work independently and have high attention to detail and work within tight timeframes
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, will consider applicable experience
