Direct Hire Opportunity – Quality Engineer (Military Focus)

Salary : $80,000 annually

Direct Hire, Full-Time, Exempt

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with a passion for precision and process improvement? Our client, a well-established manufacturer serving the military sector , is seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join their team. What You’ll Do

Coordinate and lead First Article Acceptance Testing (FAAT) and Product Conformance Audits (PCA) for new product launches.

Facilitate FAI / PPAP submissions , including PSW, PFMEA, control plans, and process flows.

Partner with Engineering to validate processes, tooling, and product changes.

Perform statistical analysis (SPC, Cpk, MSA / gage studies) and measurement validation.

Ensure compliance with quality standards for ongoing production and military contract requirements.

Create and deliver data packages to end customers.

What We’re Looking For

U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (due to ITAR regulations).

Prior ITAR experience highly preferred .

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and / or Six Sigma certification required.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Technician or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of FAAT / PCA for military contracts.

Ability to read and interpret engineering prints with GD&T.

Hands-on experience with FAIs, PPAPs, PFMEAs, and statistical methods.

Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and quality software (MiniTab a plus).

Experience with lab devices (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.) and familiarity with CMM / VMM.

Military experience a plus!
