Procurement-Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Reporting directly to the Manager Strategic Sourcing, the Procurement-Strategic Sourcing Analyst works collaboratively with Strategic Sourcing Manager, Category Analysts and Procurement team, Medical Directors, Hospital Directors, Clinical Managers, Support Services and Leadership to strategically provide support to the Category Manager Team, Operations, and vendor partners in everyday functions of their assigned categories.

This role is responsible for the overall execution of the strategy initiatives that support the Categories they support and also conduct analysis of category performance, industry trends & insights, while executing promotional planning, and day-to-day vendor management.

Location : This role will be onsite at our Worthington, OH location 4 days and work from home 1 day a week.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Understand and analyze of all aspects associated with the category, planning, and process.
• Generate, analyze, and draw conclusions on large amounts of data to support efficient management of the category and drive critical business decisions
• Manage day-to-day vendor contact for all issues related to SKU set up, pricing, costs, product logistics, in-stocks etc.
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing systems and analytical tools.
• Assist in negotiation / persuasion with suppliers and internal partners to make the best procurement decision.
• Regular quality checks for spend and savings data accuracy.
• Participate in Supplier appointments, presentations, scorecard creation and business reviews.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, business concentration with 1-3 or more years of sourcing management and / or data analysis experience. In addition, this position requires :
