DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Completes diagnostic batteries to determine articulation, voice, fluency, language, and pragmatic disorders.
• Prepares reports with testing results, recommendations for remediation and therapy plans appropriate to individual needs.
• Develops learning goals and objectives and guides the instructional process toward achievement of these goals.
• Responsible for new entrant screening of all students new to Hampton City Schools throughout the school year.
• Participates in annual child find for children ages 2-5; assesses speech / language / hearing.
• Assesses the accomplishments of the student and provides progress reports.
• Counsels colleagues, students, and / or parents on a regular basis concerning student needs and progress.
• Completes all required documentation for Medicaid billing.
• Performs other related work as required or assigned.
