Job Title : Construction Laborer

Job Description

Join our team as a Construction Laborer in Cedar Rapids, focusing on pre-engineered metal buildings. You will play a vital role in erecting metal posts and studs, attaching sheet metal, insulating, and drywalling interiors, while assisting experienced tradespeople.

Responsibilities

• Erect metal posts and studs.
• Attach sheet metal using power tools.
• Insulate and drywall interior spaces.
• Assist tradespeople with moving materials and tools.
• Operate lifts for elevated work.

Work Environment

Work in new, unoccupied construction buildings with a team of 3-5 people. Standard hours are 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional longer days and a couple of Saturdays per month. Dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt / sweatshirt, and leather work boots.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 / hr.
