We are seeking a dedicated, Spanish-speaking Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with children with autism or developmental disabilities and who can support our Spanish-speaking families by providing culturally responsive care.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect data on client behaviors during sessions
- Assist in developing individualized treatment goals
- Collaborate with the treatment team and provide feedback and progress updates
- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
- Maintain accurate and timely session notes and documentation
- Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients and families
Required Skills
Must be a Board Certified RBT (or actively working toward certification depending on hiring policy)Fluency in Spanish (verbal and written)Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilitiesKnowledge of HIPAA regulationsFamiliarity with medical terminology and electronic medical recordsCompassionate, patient, and comfortable working with childrenStrong documentation and record-keeping skillsBenefits
