Primary Duties
- Promote and maintain corporate image through consistent and quality service and establish a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Coordinate recruitment process and conduct new employee orientation.
- Set up new employee personnel files and ensure all required documents are completed, signed, and dated.
- Conduct benefit enrollment for new employees; oversee annual open registration.
- Process regular payroll and bonuses.
- Process monthly group insurance and pension invoices.
- Respond on time to any employee question or inquiry.
- Compile and distribute Board packets.
- Coordinate meeting schedules.
- Keep employees posted on any updates regarding benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Equity, 401(k), Life insurance, etc.
- Process any work that occurs on the Cooperative.com webpage.
- Process deduction requests.
- Maintain and update employee files.
- Answer, screen and direct phone calls.
- Process and distribute daily mail.
- Process material returns.
- Provide ad hoc support around the office.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications
Has the ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the general public.Ability to establish priorities, work independently, multitask, and proceed with objectives without supervision.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.Has the ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Capable of operating a PC and various software packages including, but not limited to, word processing, Excel, Outlook, and internet applications.Capable of operating office equipment such as a printer, scanner, photocopier, and fax machine.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are preferred.Benefits Include
