Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe patient environment. PCTs also participate in patient education and support, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for patients and their families.

Requirements and Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED preferred

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred

Acute Care hospital experience preferred

Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills

We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Childrens Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology.
