We’re looking for a dependable and friendly Furniture Mover / Truck Driver to help support families through furniture pickups and deliveries for Turning Point / Second Hand Rose. This role plays a key part in helping furnish housing units for individuals and families in need.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the face of the organization on the road, helping ensure donations are picked up and delivered safely, efficiently, and respectfully :
Pick up donated furniture from homes and businesses, working as a two-person team
Deliver furniture to housing units supported by the organization
Plan efficient driving routes and ensure timely pickups
Safely load and unload furniture, protecting donor property, goods, and agency equipment
Provide friendly, professional customer service to donors and residents
Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and fuel levels of the truck
Follow safety procedures and report any vehicle concerns promptly
Assist in preparing spaces for new furniture and help remove / dispose of unwanted items
Support furniture department operations including rearranging items for display and flow
Keep leadership informed of any issues, donor feedback, or emergencies
Attend staff meetings and contribute to a positive work environment
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, great customer service skills, and a desire to make a difference. The ideal candidate will bring :
A high school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience)
A valid Michigan driver’s license and clean driving record
The ability to lift 20–70 lbs and work in various weather conditions
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of shipping / receiving and basic vehicle care
