Job Summary

Our client, a leader in engineering consulting providing best-in-class services for the oil & gas industry, seeks a Project Engineer to successfully engineer a variety of gas-related initiatives (gas plant modifications, compressor stations, complex well pads, etc). In addition to engineering, the role may also be responsible for client interaction and technical engineering support. The company is growing rapidly (currently with offices in multiple states) and offers a great work culture and family-like environment. Because of their rapid growth, there is a considerable opportunity for advancement. The candidate will work in the Midland, TX office.

Project Engineer - Mechanical

Responsibilities

Engineer solutions for clients including gas plant modifications, compressor stations and complex well pads.
Interact with clients to ensure successful and accurate solution designs and drawing packages.
Front end engineering work as well as field work is required.
Work collaboratively across all offices with management, peers, discipline leads, and other technical support personnel.
Participate in, plan, direct, technically support all activities and projects.
Maintain a working knowledge of current codes, standards, regulations, and guidelines.
Ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.
Engage in the development of new business by participating in activities such as client solicitation of performance feedback, issue resolution, and continued follow up with existing and possibly new clientele.
Assist in competitive proposal preparation.

Project Engineer - Mechanical

Position Requirements

10+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience

Minimum 5 years of Energy industry experience (gas plant preferred).

Experience with upstream, midstream, and / or downstream facilities and gathering systems.

Strong FEED and field engineering experience.

Ability to flex technically in areas of expertise (and has interest in learning new technical skills)

Outstanding written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.

Positive attitude, initiative, and integrity, with a desire for continual learning and development to meet new project challenges while contributing to a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.
