job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDispense prescription medications, unit doses, and related supplies accurately and efficiently. Process, pack, and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring all required drugs, supplies, and patient education materials are included. Interpret provider prescriptions, create and verify orders, and input / retrieve prescription data in the pharmacy system. Contact patients to validate information, resolve rejected claims, request payment details, and establish order priorities. Consult with patients on medication-related issues and provide pharmacy care services. Perform inventory and warehouse duties, including proper storage and refrigeration of medications and supplies. Monitor, calibrate, and maintain pharmacy equipment as needed. Prepare and scan documents to ensure accurate recordkeeping. Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift. Must wear a medical mask for the duration of the shift. Strong communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and best practices.
