Maintenance Parts & Inventory Control Leader
A retail employer in the Cincinnati area is seeking a Maintenance Parts & Inventory Control Leader who will oversee total inventory operations across five regional parts centers, supporting 1,700 technicians nationwide. This leader will manage teams at each center, providing strategic guidance on stocking, auto-replenishment for technician vehicles, and inventory management to ensure optimal parts availability and reduce downtime. The role involves developing and implementing auto-replenishment strategies, utilizing data and analytics to forecast inventory needs based on historical usage, seasonal trends, and ongoing projects. The leader will ensure any part can be delivered to a center within two days, operate and oversee vertical lift modules, and manage the transition to and ongoing use of Maximo for computerized inventory management. Building partnerships with vendors and providing service-oriented support to internal divisions are key aspects of the position. The role requires frequent travel (3050%, especially at the start) to regional centers, as well as onsite leadership in Cincinnati. Supervising direct reports at each center is also an essential component of this position.

Skills and Requirements : 10+ years of experience in inventory control and parts management, preferably in large warehouse or high-volume environments. Proven experience in inventory forecasting, using data analytics and historical trends. Strong management background. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Experience building partnerships with vendors. Experience with vertical lift modules. Experience with Maximo. Maintenance parts knowledge.
