Outside Sales Rep - Lighting Products

Join us on the forefront of lighting technology by considering yourself in the role of Sales Representative!

We are hiring an entry level sales representative who is in either Massachusetts or Virginia. Position will be cross posted to both locations for one opening.

As an entry level sales representative, you will have an opportunity to shadow experienced sales reps and learn about the lighting business while developing your sales technique. On average, you will spend 4 days per week making sales calls to electrical distributor partners and authorized agents to maintain existing business relationships and pursue incremental sales opportunities.

The position requires a self-motivated individual who can operate independently but can also work collaboratively with other organizational resources. The position also calls for excellent organizational and computer skills and a sales closer mentality.

As you hone your sales experience you will manage a sales territory, target new business, follow up on sales leads, and present to customers and management.

Requirements :

• The successful candidate must have a very strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1 year of professional experience in sales, sales operations, or marketing.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include (but not limited to) Excel and PowerPoint.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Lighting knowledge is preferred but not necessary.
• Experience with Salesforce or SAP is a plus.
