Lead Electrical Engineer

Description

As a Lead Electrical Engineer here at Honeywell you will play a key role in leading and managing electrical engineering projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the design development and implementation of power supply designs. The lead engineer will provide technical expertise guidance and support to the team ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation improve processes and achieve project objectives. You will report directly to our Platform Electrical Engineering Manager and you will work out of our Clearwater FL location on a hybrid 3 / 2 work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage power supply printed board assemblies / circuit card assemblies electrical engineering projects from conception to completion
• Provide technical expertise guidance and support to the team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
• Design and develop high reliability power electronics including isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converters (power stages magnetics control) and EMI filters
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements
• Analyzing and lab testing analog and DC-DC conversion circuits
• Manage project budgets timelines and resources
• Supports or executes one or more complex Printed Board Assembly (PBAs) development assignments including supporting system trades setting and negotiating circuit requirements derived from system requirements developing concepts / architectures completing design analysis and testing in an engineering laboratory setting.
• Follows and tailors best design practices and guidelines to ensure efficiency on given project task while ensuring design compliance and producibility.
