DSCC Deputy Coordinated Campaigns Director
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is hiring Deputy Coordinated Campaigns Directors for the 2026 cycle. Deputy Coordinated Campaigns Directors will be responsible for working with the Coordinated Campaigns Director, DSCC leadership, candidate campaigns, state parties, partner organizations and other key stakeholders to help develop, advise, and support strong coordinated campaign infrastructure in upcoming Senate races. This includes the areas of training, strategic planning, program development, and in-cycle evaluation.
Deputy Coordinated Campaigns Directors must have at least two cycles of management experience running large-scale field programs, with a preference working with both volunteer and paid; and at least four cycles of field experience in a campaign setting, preferably within a candidate or coordinated campaign. They must have deep experience with political campaigns, managing teams, planning, and budgeting. In addition, ideal Deputy Coordinated Campaigns Director candidates should have experience with mail, phone, and text-based voter outreach; digital organizing; reporting and other field analytics.
This position will report to the DSCC’s Coordinated Campaigns Director.
Responsibilities
Work with the DSCC Coordinated Campaigns Director to help advise and support Senate coordinated campaigns, including in the following areas :
- Hiring Process
- Staff structure and hiring ramp
- Planning and budgeting
- Create program goals, design and execution
- Direct voter contact and other relevant tools support
- Build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders at coordinated tables
Provide direct support to Coordinated Campaign leadership to consistently improve programming by :
Coach Coordinated Campaign DirectorsEvaluate programs, including development of effective action plans to improve outcomesDevelop structures that assist with program improvement and accountabilityDraft materials such as planning documents, memos, program guidance, and other resources to support states with program and staff developmentQualifications
At least four cycles of recent experience working in large scale, preferably statewide, field programs; at least two cycles serving in management roles for such programs.At least two cycles of experience in planning, execution and evaluation of field programsExperience with budgeting and budget trackingExpert level understanding of field and direct voter contact tools and products such as VAN, predictive dialers, peer-to-peer text programs, targeting models, field reports, etc.Excellent communication, relationship building, teamwork and collaboration skills, especially in a fast-paced environmentEffective communicator across modes, including in-person, virtual, and writtenAbility to balance needs of multiple stakeholders while driving program goalsAbility to operate independently and act with discretion in managing DSCC operations with regard to supported coordinated campaignsPersonal and professional commitment to promoting and investing in cross-cultural skills with individuals from broad backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and disabilityThe annualized salary for this position is $130,000.
