Pay Range : $26.10 - $39.15

Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center, 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Hours Per Week : 40

Sign-On Bonuses : $10,000 for eligible applicants with distance-based relocation; additional $2,000 for PM shifts.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain a clean, safe, and aseptic environment for optimal patient care.
• Prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for surgeries, ensuring a sterile field and anticipating the surgeon's needs.
• Assist as a Second Assistant when necessary and ensure the operating room is ready for procedures.
• Transport patients and equipment safely, adhering to proper techniques.
• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.

Qualifications :

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• No prior experience required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift, carry, and transport up to 50 lbs and perform a sliding transfer of up to 150 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move frequently during shifts.
• Exposure to a variety of patient care hazards is expected; appropriate safety gear must be worn.
