Role and Responsibilities
The Integration Developer is part of the Data Governance team and will help ensure that data assets are of proper quality and highly available. The role includes developing data integration processes and maintaining and supporting them in Microsoft Azure environment.
Responsibilities
PRIMARY DUTIES
Integrate healthcare and financial data provided by clients and external vendorsIntegrate data from HR, Accounting, CRM and other source systems, as applicableBuild, maintain, test and support Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelinesMonitor ETL and reporting jobs, and support and maintain all integration processesTroubleshoot data issues, identify root cause, and resolve or escalate as necessaryOptimize processes for performance, resiliency, accuracy, efficiency and scalabilityAnalyze data, transform it based on business rules, and deliver to target systemsLoad data while maintaining data lineage and operational trackingMaintain documentation, manage source code, participate in code reviews, and testImplement best practices, and ensure quality and timeliness of deliverablesQualifications
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
4+ years as a database and ETL developer2+ years using Azure Data Factory (ADF)Strong knowledge of T-SQL and stored procedures in a Microsoft SQL Server environmentStrong knowledge of database concepts such as tables, views, and indexesGood knowledge of quality assurance best practices in an ETL environmentDemonstrated ability in meeting deadlines and communicating progress across projectsAbility to coordinate and collaborate with other team members and business ownersBachelor's degree or higherPreferred Experience
Experience working with data integration related to Healthcare or Financial dataExperience developing PowerShell or python scripts
