Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol - Day Shifts

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol - Day Shifts in East Fishkill, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and proactive approach contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will interact with people throughout your shift, provide outstanding customer service, and support the overall well-being of the workplace while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Tue 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Fri 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Sat 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Sun 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the manufacturing and industrial environment to help deter unauthorized access.
  • Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activities observed during patrols or while on duty.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and / or contractors to provide information and assistance as needed.
  • Support Allied Universal and the client by maintaining a visible presence and helping to uphold site-specific protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
