About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of KYC to join their global Financial Crimes Compliance team. The successful candidate will be the primary subject matter expert for KYC on a global scale, responsible for driving the strategic direction, policy, and execution of the KYC program. This role requires a proven track record in establishing and maintaining a scalable KYC program, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in digital assets and fintech. The Head of KYC will oversee KYC operations, partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to implement the KYC program, and ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage a team are essential, as is the capacity to operate in a dynamic and evolving regulatory environment. Applicants for the Head of KYC position at the company should have at least 10 years of experience in managing, designing, and implementing KYC programs for financial institutions. Detailed knowledge of global anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, and sanctions regulations is a must. The role also demands deep experience in assessing and implementing reg-tech solutions, strong project management skills, and excellent communication abilities. The Head of KYC will be responsible for maintaining awareness of global KYC regulatory changes, providing oversight of KYC functions, and managing relationships with cross-functional teams. A BA / BS degree is required, with an advanced degree being preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the cryptocurrency industry and be adept at operating in an environment that values innovation and cutting-edge technology.
