Pratt and Whitney has a unique opportunity for a position in our Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programming group in HSMC-North. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow in the industry and have an impact on product quality.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Programming CMMs.
  • Write analysis scripts for CMM and non-contact inspection devices.
  • Occasional direct measurements of artifacts / parts in our development area.

Qualifications You Must Have :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years' metrology and CMM Programming experience
  • Travel up to 10%.
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts.
  • Qualifications We Prefer :

  • Aerospace industry experience.
  • Knowledge of aerospace industry quality standards and procedures.
  • Specific experience CMM programming utilizing a mix of the CMM software packages : MODUS, CAMIO, CMM Manager.
  • Knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y 14.5-1994 and ASME Y 14.5-2018, and measurement system analysis.
  • Must be comfortable working in a shop environment and periodically presenting in technical meetings.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, SPC) for measurement data interpretation.
