About the Role

A leading healthcare organizationis seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide strategic leadership and direction for all nursing departments. The ideal candidate will champion excellence in patient-centered care workforce engagement and quality improvement while driving initiatives that align with Magnet standards and professional practice goals.

What Youll Do

Lead all nursing departments to deliver high-quality patient-centered care .

Advance Magnet standards quality outcomes and nursing excellence.

Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies policies and compliance initiatives .

Oversee programs that promote nurse recruitment retention and professional development .

Foster an environment of continuous improvement collaboration and clinical innovation .

Drive the organizations Magnet recognition and nursing excellence goals.

What Youll Bring

Active RN license in the State of New York.

Masters degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration (required).

8 years of progressive nursing leadership experience including 3 years in an executive or director-level role.

Demonstrated success in leading or maintaining Magnet-recognized programs .

Strong background in strategic planning operations management and change leadership .

Magnet experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in urban or safety-net hospitals .

Prior Magnet Program Director experience.

Advanced certifications such as NEA-BC or FACHE .
