About The Role :
As a Tax Administrator, you will support centralized Sales and Used tax filing, preparation, and processing of Property Tax returns, whicle managing processing and gathering of information needed to file Business Personal Property Returns,. This role will also be responsible for the timely property tax payment process and incentive planning opportunities which includes enforcing policies, standards, and guidelines, researching issues, reviewing real and assessable personal property tax assessments, maintaining the company work paper database, negotiating reduction settlements, and the preparation and presentation of assessment appeals and supporting litigation. You will research available incentives, present and negotiate incentive requests, and document secured benefits and findings.
Responsibilities Also Include :
S upport the centralization and preparation of Sales and Used tax returns
Prepares account reconciliations and payment requests. support sales tax audits
Lead the process for multi-state company filings
D ata collection and review, and track returns and payments to ensure due dates are met by filing and paying timely
R esponsible for the research and applying for Economic development funding and other resources, in each state where it is applicable to maximize the return
Prepare book-to-tax differences by gathering and analyzing data, drawing accurate conclusions, and creating detailed supporting work papers on a quarterly basis
Prepare quarterly estimated payments and extensions and support the taxable income forecast process, semi-annual and year-end income tax provisions
Prepare tax account reconciliations, comparisons of return-to-provision, deferred tax validations, and non-income tax filings such as , FBAR, W-8BENE / W-9, unclaimed property, and all other filings
Support federal, state, international, and local audits as needed
Maintain tax compliance and reporting calendar to ensure all deadlines are met
Contribute to company-wide and departmental process improvement initiatives
Collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external consultants
Assist to ensure accurate presentation of financial statements and disclosures in accordance tax accounting basis using excel and reporting to Group Headquarters at year end
Assists with the compilation, analysis, and reporting of data documenting adherence with internal controls
Assist with review of internal consolidated financial statements and management reporting.
Assist with technical accounting memorandums documenting the Company's accounting treatment and considerations.
Assist with review of financial reporting, analyst presentations, quarterly / annual planning models and other materials.
Prepare property and sales and use tax filings for all locations in the United States
What You Should Have :
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
0-3 years relevant experience in accounting and tax reporting
Must be proactive, detail-oriented, able to take responsibility and maintain high quality and accuracy in reporting with specific deadlines
Ability to manage competing priorities with deadlines
Must work independently and collaboratively
Must be willing to learn new systems, pull reports from ERP, and be a hands on type person
