The Order Verification Pharmacist is a critical contributor in getting patients the medication they need, when they need them. This requires you to use your clinical expertise in performing the daily tasks of a Long-Term Care Pharmacist such as prescription entry and verification, performing clinical drug utilization reviews, consulting with nurses and doctors to clarify orders, and supporting pharmacy technicians as needed.
Location : Phoenix, AZ The Cotton Center (4645 E Cotton Center Blvd, Suite 100, Phoenix, AZ 85040).
Schedule : Sunday – Wednesday 7PM – 5 : 30AM
Training : Monday-Friday 9 : 00am-5 : 30pm for the first 4 weeks.
Salary : $57-$65 / hr based on experience.

Key Responsibilities :
The ability to adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance OfficerEvaluate medication orders for appropriateness and recommend changes to therapy, as neededEnter medication ordersCollaborate with members of the health care team to resolve medication concerns, including answering phone callsPerform the initial pharmacist verification of prescription entryMaintain complete and accurate information in the patients’ medical recordImplement the pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective medication use, including participation in the pharmacy’s continuous quality improvement programEnsure PV1 is meeting its commitments for pharmacy run times and exceeding expectations of our customers / colleagues performing fulfillmentAbide by all federal and state laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacyReport medication errors to management as they occurAssist pharmacy technicians as neededPerform other duties as assignedQualifications :
Licensed by the Arizona State Board of PharmacyNPI number preferred -Not mandatory for hire, required within first 90-day period of employment.Skills + Abilities :
