About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse

Description :

Position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse.

Shift consists of four 10-hour days, from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM.

The nurse will have a patient ratio of 1 : 1.

On-call requirements include one day every week and one weekend every month.

Travelers may be required to float between departments to meet facility needs.

First-time travelers are not accepted.

The nurse must possess a valid RN license, preferably in the state of employment.

BLS certification is required, and ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.

Experience with procedures such as Abdominoplasty, Anterior Cervical Fusion, and Cholecystectomy is beneficial.

The facility accommodates a variety of patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Total staffed beds in the facility is 75.

Special equipment used includes advanced surgical technology.

All travelers should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season.

RTO must be submitted with initial application for consideration.
